Red is an older border collie ( aprox 7+) who showed up as a stray at the local post office. He was then given to a farrier who kept him for a month or so then decided he didn't want him and called us. We agreed to take him in to try and find him an adoptive home.
Red is well trained and obediant. He gets along with other dogs except agressive males. He loves people, enjoys rides in the car and is trained to handle livestock.
His one vice is chasing cats. But many border collies have the same vice.
Red, like typical border collies, would not make a good back yard dog. He requires a lot of exercise and attention from his guardian. Red is now available through the Northern California Border Collie Rescue.
UPDATE...Red has been adopted!
